The adversary goes to great length into seducing us into
redefining the nature and character of God by appealing to the emotions,
physical appetites, and disposition of unrestraint we all possess as the
natural man. The God of Christianity and Mormonism today would be
unrecognizable to Joseph Smith's generation much less to say Abraham, Isaac,
Moses, Nephi, or the Brother of Jared- and I do not think it is by accident that
this has occurred.
“For do we not read that God is the same yesterday, today,
and forever, and in him there is no variableness neither shadow of changing?”
(Mormon 9:9)
Have you noticed that the Church/General Authorities along
with the Joel Osteens of the world spend a lot of time at the pulpit selling
you the warm fuzzy god of positive thinking and love? They do this because they
are tapping into a truth and natural desire that God placed within us to
experience love and security such as that which a parent provides a child. In
our world of fear, war, and uncertainty (conditions created by our adversary)
people are literally scared to death and they long for the love and security
they felt in the arms of their parents so long ago. We are literally seduced
into believing that God's only attribute is Love. The adversary has also
manipulated the very definition of Love for the sole purpose of conquering us
into passivity as we sit our butt comfortably in a pew every Sunday while being
indoctrinated to do what you are told and to give the controlling system of
priestcraft your money so that they can perpetuate the same deception on
others. In other words, we are being sold the "love god" for the
purpose of gain.
God is a God of Love and he is also a God of Justice, Mercy,
Judgment, Beauty, Strength, Truth, etc. We are not jumping on Santa Claus' lap
we are appealing to the throne of Heaven--The Father of Heaven and Earth, The
Lord of Hosts. Portraying God as "the Greek love god" who loves and
tolerates all manner of sin because he sees our good intentions is diabolical
because a truth has been manipulated to do one thing-- to keep you out of the
court of Heaven and to keep you from calling upon his name using his covenant
protocol.
If the adversary can get us to buy into the lie of the
"love god" with a twisted definition of love based on our modern
culture, then we will never come to understand the COVENANT LOVE the Father and
Son offer to us which far surpasses anything the general authorities and Joel
Osteens of the world have to offer. The Spiritual Marriage Relationship between
God and Us brings the real fruit of the redemptive power and presence of God
not a placebo of positive thinking and warm fuzzies. During times of trial and
tribulation it will be those who know how to approach God under his covenant
relationship who will obtain the blessings of the covenant. It will be those
who know and understand all of his attributes including the real COVENANT LOVE
he extends who will be able to follow in the path of Christ and make true
intercession for their brothers and sisters.
Don't buy into the love god of Modern Christianity and
Mormonism as it is only a marketing tool to get you to buy more lies and
falsehoods. Instead learn that God is a Loving Father and King based on an
Everlasting Covenant. In doing so we will come to know the true God of Israel--
The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob-- The God of the Brother of Jared -- The
God of Adam and Eve--- WHICH IS ONE GOD. THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND
FOREVER, IN WHOM THERE IS NO VARIANCE. SHALOM!
